In one line: Almsommer collects nothing. The app has no account, no sign‑in, no analytics, no advertising and no network connection of any kind. It works fully offline, and it stays that way for as long as you play it.
Almsommer keeps your herd, your seasons, your cheese records and your settings so the game remembers where you left off. All of this is written only to your device's own app storage. None of it is sent anywhere, because Almsommer has no server to send it to.

Almsommer asks for camera or photo library access only when you choose to add a photo to a season's postcard. If you take a photo, it is used for that postcard alone. If you pick an existing photo, the system's own picker is used and Almsommer never sees your wider photo library — only the single image you select. Neither is uploaded or shared with anyone unless you personally use the system share sheet to send your own postcard.
If you allow it, Almsommer schedules a single local reminder about cheese wheels waiting in the cellar. This reminder is created and delivered entirely on your device; it is not a push notification and no server is involved.
Almsommer contains no tracking of any kind, no analytics software development kit, and no advertising. Nothing about how you play is measured, recorded remotely or shared with any third party, because the app never contacts a network.
Because Almsommer collects no personal data from anyone, of any age, there is nothing in the app's design that treats children's information any differently — there simply is no information leaving the device to protect.
